Comment: 6.5 Japanese Type 38 rifle. Clearly stamped Type 38 on receiver (in Japanese). Mum has been completely stamped out. Manufacturer is either Koishikawa Arsenal (Tokyo) or Kokura Arsenal (same marking), series 25. Woodwork has several dings and knocks (the front handguard is in poor shape) but is otherwise in fair condition. The stock is amazingly not splitting, which is curiously common to Arisakas. Rifling is clear and solid. Metalwork has pitting around in the middle band and around the sights (no anti-aircraft wings). Comes with dust cover.
