Comment: I bought this gun from a mate a few months ago thinking it would replace my 1858 2 band sea service, but to get a 520gn RCBS minnie on 35gn Swiss 3f ( that´s the
maximum recoil I can handle from this light gun ) out to 150 meters it just
wasn´t going to happen.The front sight the blade has been milled off then
a slot cut in in base and a new top bit put in and fixed with a roll pin. not in the middle.
95 thou from one side and 55 from the other which corrected its natural tendency to shoot 12 inches to the left at 50 yards. The second part was the front part of the back sight has fine target slot not a wide vee, which is not original just more accurate.
