Comment: G.Defourny B.L.E SxS 16G shotgun. Has 30 inch barrels on excellent bores with 2 ½” chambers. Choked to approx 1/2 & 3/4. Very good blued finish to barrels with light handling wear overall. Light steel finish to action with 100% coverage of scroll engraving, action very tight with Purdey style hidden 3rd bite. Strong case colour to action tables. Liege proofs to barrel flats. Top of barrels engraved with Amsterdam retailer. Good to very good English straight stock. 14 ¾” LOP including 1” rubber recoil pad. Moderately worn chequering to wrist & forend with some handling marks. 6lb weight. Overall in excellent working order & very good condition. A high grade Belgian sub gauge. #10142 L/R
