Comment: Australian Army Khaki/Green Web SMLE 303 Long Rifle Sling - Unissued Original (not repro) Australian issue khaki/green webbing sling. Also for the L1A1 SLR 7.62mm Rifle. Excellent unissued New Old Stock (NOS) condition. 58" long rather than the 46" of the standard rifle sling. The protective grease on the brass fitting is easily removed with kerosene or WD40 etc to reveal the bright brass. Some residue of perished rubber bands which can be picked off.
